Paris trip was part of our honeymoon destinations. The joke was on the first day we arrived from Qatar our jetlag was so bad that we overslept literally 12 hours. We arrived 4pm in Paris and fell asleep till 4am the next morning. What a day wasted.
We divided Paris trip into two parts, first quarter and last quarter with Italy in between. The first quarter generally were to visit famous landmarks obviously the Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe, the last quarter was mostly museum visits

Let's talk about whether this was mid of Autumn and whether is just perfect for me. I like spring and autumn. You can easily walk miles without breaking sweat. Our room were not equipped with air conditioning and it was perfect.
Public transport were excellent the connectivity was much better than Malaysia. Subway were just less than 50 meter away from the hotel we stayed in. The trains were old but did much better job than Malaysia. I would say Malaysia is fortunate to have modern train but we got to improve on the timing and frequency.
But you have to be really careful with pickpocket and conman. It doesn't go without saying, we did experience it first hand and were lucky enough not to fall victim to these people. The first encounter Alicia was walking in front of me and there were a guy in between us, he tried to open a zip on Alicia bag. I called for Alicia and she has missed the exit, the guy immediately ran away thinking that I have caught him which I did not realize. It was then I realized that guy was up to something nasty.
Second encounter was during the last leg of Paris trip. There was a guy pretending to be ticket attendant at the ticket vending machine. He tried to convince us to pay him to buy ticket for us. Fortunately we were very familiar with the machine and Alicia could read some French. We turned him away politely and he proceed to attack a Malaysian family. It was then there's another Frenchman apprehended him in the most dramatic way possible by grabbing the guy in a lock and called for "Police!!!"

Foods were very convenient, I think I love the food court in the Lourve. It is nothing like the food court in Malaysia. You can get very decent food at reasonable price.

If you are in Paris for more than 3 days and you love museums I would recommend buying 3 days museum pass. At the end of the trip you literally feel you had enough of museum, and probably can throw out some random artist name during random conversation. Top museums I would recommend are
- Lourve
- Musée de l'Orangerie
- Musée d'Orsay
- Rodin Museum
- Beautiful city
- Art and history
- Transportation
What I dislike about Paris
- Crime (would not be on my list if I did not encounter first hand 2 times)
- Cleanliness (overall civic attitude is better than Malaysia but the upkeep is not)
- Racism (don't like to be labeled as Chinese Tourist although I am )
